Kindle a Light's goals are to 1) Raise awareness about mental health issues 2) To support people dealing with mental illness and 3) To end the stigma around mental illness.

We also encourage people that live with mental health issues to get involved in supporting one another and get involved in altruistic work. By helping others and raising awareness we are making the world a better place while strengthening our own recovery.

One way you can get involved with Kindle a Light by supporting our You Tube channel. This channel is a place for people dealing with mental health issues to share their stories, their hope, their recovery and the reasons why raising awareness is important to them.

We invite you to submit a video telling your mental health story. Please submit videos no longer than 10 minutes. You can upload them to http://www.megaupload.com/ and email Dani Z the link: thedanizblog@gmail.com . If you do not want to submit a video you can still help by spreading the word about this channel on facebook and twitter.
