hmvrios 1 you're right about not driving it, but playing for the emotion and message in the ballad, but like you I think it was a good choice for the vibraphone if played with a little more passion - and yes those softer mallets too.
You have to admit Sierra gives a very impressive performance here, marvellous singing and great stage presence and looks like she is enjoying the part. Bravo!
