I went to see the LRB perform at Gibbston Valley Winery,New Zealand, last month(February 2012). They were better than the DB's, in my opinion..I spent the whole time dancing to them, and snoozed when the other band was playing..

No other guitarist has made me feel this way..I can't explain it ...I just feel it. RIP, Mr Moore, you are sorely missed!!!

I didn't know that Gary had died......I feel so sad, To me, he was the most under rated guitarist, and unlike a lot of them..he could actually sing, as well. My favourite song is,' the Loner' and always will be, it especially shows off his amazing talent. He will be so sadly missed.....RIP

I read that Gene started off as a song writer and everyone else sang his songs...What a waste! He has the most beautiful voice I have heard..There is nobody who sounds like him, at all. That is truly unique!!!!

MrKimmber72..I know what you are saying, my mum loved Gene, and would sing his songs all the time. I was so young, I did not appreciate how great he really is. Funny how much I enjoy listening to him now, and I think he has one of the finest voices I have ever heard.

It doesn't seem to matter what song Gene sings, he just sounds wonderful!. It will be a long time before someone moves me like he did, that's for sure.. he is a male Dusty and they are both gone, So sad ..
