Lady Envy was born august 9th in Montclaire California, started walking at only 6 mths old, always very artistic as a child started chior in the 1st grade, she had a very hard childhood custody battles , being kidnapped and recovered , disowned at birth by her fathers side of the family she went thru many years of therapy from 5y/o to 9 y/o.... her mom tryed to keep her focused by after school activities ,at 13 she became so rebellious that her mom couldnt handle her and moved out when she turned 14. lady envy went to school until 17 when she decided to move traveled all over the U.S.A. and ended up in san antonio texas she fell in love and stayed . At 19 she got married and had a 4 yr abusive relationship at 23 she was diagnosed with stage 3 cerivcal cancer she was able to get out of her marriage and get on her own two feet.She enrolled in college and became a certified chef diagnosed with cancer again this time in the lymphnodes stage 2 again it spread all the way to her tonsils "it's amazing god gave me my voice to still be able to sing" she stated . lady envy has been rapping since feb.2010 and has been screwed over by everygroup that shes been with the last group she declined to give the name to, "DRAINED HER DRY " She stated.. emptied her bank accounts and took all her personal possesions, Lady envy was also the target of a hate crime in Nov. 2010 she was performing at club Krave and a man from posted up crew in texas punched her in her face and broke her nose in 3 places " for being A WHITE female" she stated he told her to stay in the kitchen and get off the stage ...she went on with her life and is making a remarkable come back against all odds shes rising up the charts
