Growing up in London she is 29 and has years of experience in theater performance, after graduating from college in Performing Arts. Choosing a more academic route, she went on to study a BA in Psychosocial Studies at East London university where she learned people as individuals, how each individual would think based on the way they have been raised, and how that person in particular would interact with society. Being combined with psychology and sociology, it broadened Kimberley's mind on what individual characters would be like given a number of scenarios, which led to her getting involved in script writing, where she produced a number of excellent theater productions involving young people.

Recently graduating in 2008 from Middlesex University with a BA in Film Studies, the world has become Kimberley's oyster, and as the daughter of Britain's first Afro Caribbean boxer Bunny Sterling, who won & defended the Lonsdale belt 3 times, Kimberley is destined to follow in her fathers footsteps in her pursuit to win awards, break records, and set new trends.

Kimberley Sterling has already received accreditation for some fantastic productions for which she has been a part of, she has received a UK award for her work in producing, directing, editing and choreographing two music videos, to be later judged by Black Filmmaker (Bfm) and, A&R's from Universal, Warner, Shalit Global, Sony Bmg and Virgin Record companies. One of these videos was for the group JLS, who later went on to win second place to Alexander Burke in Series 5 of Simon Cowell's, X Factor 2008. Over 15.000 people have viewed Kimberleys Stand By Me Beautiful Girl Music Video, which was the original marketing video used to promote the four boy's Oritse, JB, Marvin, Aston in 2007, who prior to the show called themselves UFO. Currently, JLS are now Britain's biggest boy band, having their debut single Beat Again reach No 1 in the UK charts.

In May 2009 Kimberley presented one of her productions to royalty, where she constructed a master class for talented children across Europe who showcased their national costumes, a performance and presented flowers to HRH The Duke of Kent, Prince Phillip on board the HMS Belfast Ship.

Kimberley has also worked as 1st Assistant Director for the US Indie artist Ingrid Michealson, as well as on UK corporate films. Further projects that Kimberley has worked on in the past under various job descriptions as a crew member have been on, 5 feature films, and on a number of other music videos such as Dave Matthews Band, Beverly Knight, The Wide Boy's, Scouting For Girls, Electrovamp, X Factors - Hero, and Hallelujah. Kimberley also has experience working in live television broadcasts and commercials, to the likes of Samsung, H.S.B.C, Nike, Natwest Bank, Tottenham v Manchester United Football Game, and the MOBO Awards 07 & 08.

In June 09 over 16.000 JLS fans familiar with Kimberley's work, voted for her to appear as a special guest on ITVs popular daytime show Loose Women, where she joined, Jackie Brambles, Sherrie Hewson, Carol Mc Giffin and Jane Mc Donald in an interview about her academic achievements, her life as a young woman, and her work as a creative video director.
