From the Northwest of England, this trio is made up of three brothers, Tom (Vocals & guitar), Dylan (Bass) and Oliver Gorman (drums, vocals & keyboard). Kill the Young have things to say and protest even their name underlines the pressure exerted by the consumer society over the youth.
In a universe that evolves, their music is a mosaic of transatlantic and British influences: growing up on bands ...like Smashing Pumpkins and R.E.M through to the English post-punk scene, up to modern acts such as Radiohead and The Arcade Fire.

After 2 albums selling at more than 50.000 copies in Europe, a last tour of more than 150 dates around Europe and the biggest festivals, the band owns a strong reputation in the musical European area.

In 2011, Kill The Young are back with a third album "Thicker than water"! This new opus has been produced by Robert Whiteley at the Whitewood recording studio in Liverpool, mixed by Julien Paschal at Sumo Studio in Brussels and mastered by Benjamin Joubert at Translab Studio in Paris. The album was recorded after the brothers faced 2 years of struggle with the loss of their father. At the end, they realised there is light at the end of the tunnel, thanks to all the memories that they have of their old man. This album is a songbook of stories about these moments and others, moments that never fade away.

The album's artwork is an authentic photo album of the Gorman familiy members. The vintage feel is truthful and honest. With this new album, the band show you they have evolved, but above all, they've lost nothing of their cheeky eloquence. Mixing styles and influences, Kill the Young have delivered a stunning album. The band will be on tour through most of 2011 onwards.
