About this user
Christian Cooper, who goes by his stage name as Coop, has been involved with Hip Hop since he was about six. He grew up in Milwaukee, Wisconsin before moving to Federal Way, Washington in Elementary School. "I get a lot of love from the people in my city, it wouldn't seem right to not pay homage." Coop did numerous talent shows growing up before he realized that Rapping is something he does more exceptional than most. Since then Coop has attended the University of Washington while receiving a growing Fan base from his fellow peers.
Coop is a self-proclaimed "Younger Ludacris mixed with a little J.Cole." A member of his Entourage (Stack'N'Stash) says "Coop gives you more than one style he can literally rap on any beat. He can get deep within a particular subject matter or just give you the typical punch line flow also." Coop takes heavy influences from his favorite artists 2pac and lil Wayne. "It's crazy how much I love those two guys man I actually got Wayne lyrics tatted on my chest and I got an appointment to get Pac's on me also."
In October, 2010 Coop released a minor Demo titled "Mental Showcase" to friends and family. On June 16th, 2011 Coop released his most recent project "Bring the Real Back." This Mixtape features Seattle local Hip-Hop artists the "Knowmads" and continues to gain buzz throughout the Seattle Hip-Hop scene. Coop's next project will be an EP released this coming October, but in the mean-time he will continue to release a new freestyle every 1st of the month.
