On the intake manifold is it as important to get it super smooth? and would you want to leave the runners on the Intake manifold just a tad bigger than on the heads just to make sure the ports on the heads aren't smaller which would result in a bottle neck?

you should throw a hardend 4th in there too at minum and do an updated valve body. I'd also consider a stronger input shaft and new chain...
