It would have been good to have these speeded up a bit. I don't listen to or know of very many metal songs that are 80BPM. Good videos though, I can imagine they would be very useful for those that don't listen to metal.

I find this song so weird to learn, with the snare hits being on the "and" of every beat that throws me off, and with it being a pretty intense beat, but slow at the same time. I'll get it down soon, good cover.

@Shepherd492 At around 3:10, you can see his foot shift across to his double bass pedal, and plays it, it's pretty obvious, you can see the slave pedal by his hi-hat.

@ragejg Have you ever spent any time focusing to ONLY Jack Iron's drum track? Because most of the he's playing very simple stuff. Any decent drummer can play Iron's stuff.

@AlterBridgefanc I've learnt quite a few Alter Bridge songs on drums.. Believe me, they are very similar. The drum beat to Come To Life and Isolation is almost identical, other than the obvious changes the structure. Scott's bass drum patterns do not change much at all song to song.

I'm not a fan of the tom beat in the chorus, I don't think it really fits that well, and I'd probably reduce the amount of open hi hat hits in the verses, but other than it's great. The contest is all about interpretation, and of course, our intepretations our unlikely to be the same. Great effort.

@BassJammer88 Sounds like he's only playing a single pedal here, although he does use a double bass pedal occassionally, I think it's just for songs like Rearviewmirror and Whipping, I think I read in an interview that he never really practiced with it.
