Complete 'how to' videos on dog training, clicker training and behavior modification. 'how to' videos on amazing tricks and obedience exercises.
About Me:

I am overwhelmed with hundreds of messages now, I am not sure I will be able to answer them all! Ack~!

I train my dogs using the clicker training method (used by aquariums and zoos)- which is a subset of operant conditioning. That means I don't use positive punishment or negative reinforcement (I don't say 'no!' or 'eh eh' etc) Instead I use positive reinforcement and negative punishment (I add good things and take away good things from my dogs environment)

Hi Emily
You are amazing. What wonderful body language and such awesome communication you have with your friends. It isn't just about the behaviors displayed that fascinate me it's having the opportunity to watch a natural at work. I have been with some excellent trainers in the last 30 years and helped educate many more but only a couple of times have I seen your smooth rhythm and style. You are a pleasure to watch! Keep up the great work.

Hi Emily,

I've been a fan of your videos for a while - you're becoming my inspiration for getting into agility and obedience! I wanted to know how much time you think you spend on an average day training your dogs? I have 3 - they all love clicker training but I just don't have as much time as I'd like to have once I'm done with work, commuting, house stuff...but maybe I'm not using the time efficiently?

hi Emily, my newfie puppy has recently gotten big enough to be able to take stuff off of the counters, (i.e. a whole block of cream cheese and a burger) she is a slow learner so i haven't even begun to teach her "leave it" yet, would that be the best way to get her to stop doing this behavior?
