If u got some time now and then - check some of my 70/80s electronics sound playlists & 80s/90s house/ambient/techno/electro playlists.....there is vintage stuff inside.
i was also a part time-DJ back then - but not a mixing professional - just "just" putting on records at venues - in one case it was a restraining centre in Heidelberg for younger or a bit older people learning a new job + living there in Heidelberg (in a kind of boarding school or hostel for the students from all over Germany and was the DJ for the official dance party of the 3000 students every Thursday and also put on records during private night parties of student residents - this all too place in 1988/89 and was also the time when early house came to international attention & commercial success -

- the first signs of techno were also audible - i had my first Techno compilation double LP in 1988 called "The Detroit Sound of Techno" with Inner City etc....AND THIS CD/LP sounded rather still like new wave-industrial combined with Kraftwerk or DAF or Fad Gadget maybe.....it was not the later boom-boom techno of the mid-90s !!!
