Linda Ronstadt - "Good Night" (Beatles Cover)
Lovely recording of John Lennon's (sung by Ringo) "Good Night", the closing track on "The Beatles" (White Album).

Ringo is the sole Beatle vocalist recorded for this song. You're confusing another song called "Good Night" that Paul wrote and sang in Wings.

The rumors have a point. This song sounds suspiciously similar to Alan Parson's hit "Eye in the Sky".

Taurus- Spirit
This is the song that Zeppelin stole the intro to Stairway to Heaven from. Not a soundtrack, but quite the tune.

Zeppelin Schmeppelin, any guitar player can tell you that descending guitar riff has been used a thousand times: take a look at The Beatles' "Michelle" for instance.

The endless debate about who invented heavy metal will never be solved, but remember this: Blue Cheer came along in 1966, 3 years before Black Sabbath blipped onto the map. Try "Doctor Please" on for size and see why the Cheer invented heavy metal, Sabbath just made it a genre!

Always been one of their most haunting songs. Ed's minor bass line utilizing a 6th note practically makes the whole song.

The lyrics were by George King, Tiny's manager (who named him Tiny Tim after Sir Timothy Tims didn't seem to work), in the early 60's. Tiny thought it was the weakest song on the album but felt he owed it to George.

The Passion of Joan of Arc Execution Death Sequence synced to Pink Floyd's "Us and Them."
a video I made syncing pink floyd's "us and them" to the passion of joan of arc from 1928
music matches so well and is a sobering experience.

Thanks for posting this. The shots of Joan's body being consumed in the flames are astonishing. I don't know if there is anything else like it in cinematic history. Truly haunting.
