Always been one of their most haunting songs. Ed's minor bass line utilizing a 6th note practically makes the whole song.

The lyrics were by George King, Tiny's manager (who named him Tiny Tim after Sir Timothy Tims didn't seem to work), in the early 60's. Tiny thought it was the weakest song on the album but felt he owed it to George.

Thanks for posting this. The shots of Joan's body being consumed in the flames are astonishing. I don't know if there is anything else like it in cinematic history. Truly haunting.
