Kids Helping Kids is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that was Founded in 2007 by then 10 year old Tyler Page with the support of his Mom Laura. Feelings of sorrow overcame him while watching an episode of Oprah on child trafficking where Tyler learned that children as young as 4 were being sold by their own parents into fishing slavery. When he learned that just $240 would keep one child out of those horrible conditions for an entire year, that sorry quickly turned into hope and by the end of the show a dream was born.

His mission was clear and determination took over as he rallied his classmates and friends to join his efforts in having a community carwash at his elementary school 3 weeks later. The $240 dream to "save a child" was attained when that carwash raised nearly $1,200.

Today, Kids Helping Kids is committed to empowering youth ages 5-18 yrs through moral and value based leadership curriculum, Cause-based, hands on experiences in fundraising to achieve relevance, retention and engagement. Kids ideas to help disadvantaged children globally is the reason we exist. Founded by a 10 year old and fueled by youth-based heart-felt compassion, these kids are leading the way by being the change they want to see.
