About Me:

From the Very Beginning, Language is Intonation, Rhythm and Music

Though a childs early attempts to communicate are satisfied by movement and glances, the voice quickly seeks to articulate ideas, feelings and imagination.

From the very beginning language is intonation, rhythm and music, and that is the cornerstone of Je Donne Ma Langue au Chant! - our award winning, English language program for 3 to 6 year olds.

With its ravishing illustrations and amusing musical arrangements, this production clearly states that music and art can play a major role in the intellectual, emotional and social development of our children.

English for 3 to 6 year olds, Teachers and Parents Anywhere

Developed specially for use by children on their own, this evolving collection is also adapted to classroom use by teachers not formally trained in early foreign language instruction. Je Donne Ma Langue au Chant! is a welcome addition to home school education.

Originally published for French kindergartens and primary schools, the program is suitable for use in any country and integrates easily into ESL programs using music and art to reinforce early English learning.

A new 50-page teaching pack will be available from Kids' Factory Music in September 2009 with artistic, linguistic and cultural activities based on each of the songs from the first three volumes.

Volume 4 will be available at the end of 2009.

Developing Autonomy and Self-Confidence

Je Donne Ma Langue au Chant! is a "feel-good" project that helps build self-confidence through songs that young children can learn on their own. Written with complete, useful sentences that make sense, all the subject matter is designed to fit the taste of young children.

The clever musical arrangements and stunning illustrations tap into the natural curiosity of children and stimulate imagination while simultaneously charming them into expressing themselves.

Catchy or moving, the songs are all fun to sing and offer an excellent opportunity for discovering many musical cultures and a variety of instruments.

How it Works

The musical composition of each song closely follows the intonation of spoken English and the audio exercises reinforce the development of listening and pronunciation skills.

Each song is presented in the same way and based on a simple pattern of listening and repetition:

• Listen to Patricia sing the song in English.
• Repeat the phrases in English with Patricia.
• Sing the song together with Patricia.
• Can you sing the song without Patricia?
