About this user
Dogs are not our whole life, but they make our lives whole.
Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.
Hello! Welcome to the cyberpage of Whisky, Shadow & Homer, the three mini-teers!
This page is not entirely about us; our master AK, is crazy about music & other people's dogs' as well, so we lent her a little space to indulge in her other hobbies. She is hoping to meet other cool dog owners, especially of schnauzers like us, so if you are one of them, don't hesitate to befriend our master.
Btw, we have two masters, AK & IC, who adore us & love us dearly. Our videos can also be found on http://www.youtube.com/user/ireneblchua
Let us introduce ourselves:
WHISKY: Hello, I am the original mini-teer. I was born on 9th Aug 2002. My present masters adopted me at 16 months.
I will let you all in on a secret; my master AK, knew ZILCH about dogs when she first adopted me. I sent her scrambling to read up on how to take care of me. She gathered information from clever dog experts like Ian Dunbar, Stanley Coren, Patricia McConnell, Karen Pryor....lucky for my master, I am one of those dogs who'll make any trainer looked good...so in no time at all, I learned my basic obedience, plus a few tricks up my paw as well!
SHADOW: Hello, I was born on the 18th May 2006 to a show dog breeder. I was first EAR-Marked to be a show dog, but ironically, it was my EARS that failed me...they refused to fold nicely....my masters took me under their care as soon as I was disqualified. I was named Shadow because my master AK thought that it was a romantic name that connotes loyalty; alas, I turned out to be merely a shadow....but that's another story...I am just a sweet boy who is happy to follow the gang...& I adore Whisky.
My birthday is rather special; it was coincidentally also the day that my master AK, went for her major operation for cancer. Subsequently, she decided not to miss out on the opportunity to look after a puppy while she could. She also hoped that by looking after me, I could act as a distraction to help her cope with chemotherapy.
Well, few years have passed and I am glad my master is still with me. My age serves as a reminder of her years in remission. I am a special dog!
HOMER: Hello, I am the youngest mini-teer; I was born on the 2nd April 2007 to a litter of six. I was adopted by my masters as soon as I was ready to be re-homed.
I am the most mischievious schnauzer around. I love to play all the time, and more often than not, I hear my masters remarking that my antics were " funny". I don't know what that means but I think it is a good thing, cos I make them laugh all the time! I am also the busybody in the family..always behind my master's back asking "What are you doing?" I just can't help it!!
Enjoy our videos that our master AK, has put up with a lot of love, in the hope of bringing a little smile to our viewers & hopefully, a few laughs as well.
Thank you all.
