Without knowing much about Freddie—I loved many of his songs. Specially the anak song. I think it is about time we have a voice. I love his patriotism. I love the idea how he says (this is me reading between the lines) that we need to have our own voice. Our own identity.

In some ways I do agree with Freddie - I know this video that is presented here is a response to what he said. But this is how I understood what he said - reading between the lines. WE HAVE TO MAKE OUR OWN ORIGINALS! ......... that's the main point.

ah. err. the I llike the tagalog bersion a lot better.. it has that special feeling to it, where the message being conveyed appeared to be so much more deeper. But I do understand that we all don't speak Tagalog.

Yes, I would say this song should be one of the all time greats. All the songs I have heard in the past. Nothing like this song has ever reached so deeply.

@kabotagman—Mt. Everest is the tallest and most popular mountain the WORLD! Of course you can't compare Mount Apo with Everest.

Mount Apo, though is the tallest peak in Philippines. I haven't been inside it as such, but I'm sure it has it's uniqueness!

@matetdonna—I"m hopeless with bikes! One of my Japanese friends had one eons ago. Since I know how to ride a bicycle thought I'd try his mountain bike. I was only travelling at 20km an hour and I was heading straight for the light post!
