Recently immigrated to Canada because there are too many ignorant lunatics and hateful racists in the USA. After 8 years under Bush/Cheney, that country is going DOWN. Empire in decline. As for me: I have a Master's degree in History, teach English overseas, have been a Progressive Democrat the past 15 years. Prior to that, I was a rightwing Republican and a fundamentalist Christian, so Neocons and religious wing-nuts have nothing to teach me. I spent more than half my life thinking just like you.
