Why not have both?

I have a solid state system with Bryston pre and 500w mono amps and big powerhungry B&W's. Its very fast and musical.

But i LOVE seeing this (opposite approach) rig.

crossing the grooves?!

that just puts all the dust right back in the grooves.

i've never had good luck with the dry carbon bristle brushes. they just drop the dust in a line whenever you lift them. (i use the old discwasher with a tiny bit of distilled water)
