@FATHIMAKIN Get your facts right. not all tribes in Sudan are of African origin, whether you like it or not many tribes there are of Arabic origin and they actually hardly changed over the centuries. Read various well documented books written by great sudanese men like Dirar Salih Dirar and Hassa...

@khalidelhassan Would like to point out that the instrument is also widely known and used in East Sudan.

the words are so unique.... not to mention the "shaigi"accent.

What I like in the way both sing, not disinheritances involved. Naturally does it.

This used to be the way in years gone by.... would be good to promote such a nice mixed "art" again.

Although he had his chance of fame and popularity in Sudan, unfortunately I dont think he was given the full credit or the utter recognition such a powerful performer deserves....

What has been shown is a new style of dance and perhaps it would have been good if the dancers were a bit better, however to portray it as a typical traditional dance is inaccurate. The bridal dance is a solo performance and would have been nice to preserve that.

@FAKHRIISHAG I fully agree with you that Hannan is the one who started this new style of songs... no question there, she started a new trend, she was a good dancer .....and so on but this doesnt change the fact that she has no voice.. ...... :- (

@SomaliPetal It is a 100% Sudanese outfit, called "Toub" and had undergone through various improvement phases resulting in some very stunning designs.

Listening to Ramaz, Sabah, Manar, Shimous and Insaf Madani I would say from all my heart that Sudan STILL have SUPER TALENTS. Well done all of them.

It is sad that in few years time people would be looking at this clip and realise that all have, for years, and could have continued to live in harmony. Just look at this nice clip... makes you wonder to why?

Abdul Nassir, Al Sadat, King Faisal of Sauid Arabia, Ismaeel Al Azhari of Sudan, Zaid Bin Sultan of UAE were the best leaders the so called Arabic world has produced in the 20th Century. Well ahead of their time may God bless all of them.

What a voice, what a performance, what a song.... Wawoooo.

Amazing voice and sings with all her soul. Needs however to practice more to perfect her talent.

With all respect to all performing... no one does it like the original singer Osman Hussain.
