Actually a few years of my life I was the only white guy in a black neighborhood. One of my first jobs was at a restaurant where I was the only white employee in the kitchen. Anyway, one day, one of the salad ladies, yeah, that's what we called them, was refilling the cracker baskets next to the salad bar, and she dropped the box and crackers went all over the floor. I walked back into the kitchen and said to the cooks, "Hey, there's crackers everywhere out there." One of the cooks replied, "Man, you've been working here too long. You need to hang around some white people for a change." So yeah, I don't know why I just shared that.

BTW, in case anyone didn't get that, they thought I was talking about the white customers.
