I have and use two different models of these sluices. I am very happy,. Very quick through put and retains find gold. I have run tests with my DFS sluice behind it and only lost a tiny speck of gold. These work great !

Oh my god, the last shot was lit with an artificial light, probably a strobe in an umbrella, not "natural Light:" ie sun.

Sounds like he hasn't calibrated his meter and/or doesn't know how to use it. I don't think following his advice is the optimum choice. Also, his reading of the values shown in the histogram is completely wrong.

Looks like a homemade table. Kind of a copy of the School for Scoundrels table, or just an Ammar table, but with a a simple 2x frame rather than a picture frame.
