Skydive - Parachute fails to open...
The parachute fails to open normally when pulling (due to an uncocked pilot chute), but I pulled the bag out by the bridle. Got it on film! Lucky...

@55cjess This guy made a laundry list of stupid mistakes. You'll be going tandem with an instructor that likely has several thousand jumps. Which begs the question...if things like this happen in skydiving, how can people rack up tens of thousands of jumps without ever experiencing what this guy ...

@MysticDMBherb Tandem is different though...on a tandem you don't actually do anything (the instructors sometimes let you play with the toggles for a bit; but not really). If you think it's super easy, check out "The stunt man: Deleted scenes". He can't even support his weight on a similar sized hold when his feet are supported by something. I'd imagine heeling that ledge is pretty sketch too...
