A singer-songwriter born and raised in Dayton, Ohio, Kevin Heider's music seems to stand in a genre all its own. Combining wit and wisdom, style and sincerity, and coupled with a refreshingly original indie/acoustic/folk/rock sound, each of Kevin's songs tells a wholly unique and personal story about one artist's quest to more fully understand and appreciate the great mysteries of life and love. And Kevin is self-taught on every instrument he plays -- primarily guitar, piano, harmonica, and Montreal Steak Seasoning.

In July of 2008, Kevin was personally selected by Ingrid Michaelson as the winner of Gibson's "The Way I Am Contest" on MusicNation.com. In March of 2009, he was invited to perform an original song ("Hope for Our Children") at the Embassy of the Republic of Guyana in Washington, D.C. In March of 2010, Kevin went on a "musical mission trip" of sorts to New Zealand, where he shared his stories and songs for multitudes of all ages. His original music has appeared in radio jingles, film documentaries, theatrical productions, television shows, and commercials.

While his home base is now in Baltimore, Maryland, Kevin currently travels full time with his music, heavily promoting his latest album "The Salzburg Revolution." All of his music is available on iTunes, Amazon MP3, Bandcamp.com, and a variety of other digital media outlets.
