About Me:

Dr. Kevin Petersen is a native Nevadan and was first board certified in surgery in 1986. Answering the need to provide affordable, surgical care to the uninsured, Dr. Petersen first offered surgery to those without insurance in 2006. Today, he has opted out of the system to offer cash-only, discounted quality-of-life surgeries through his Las Vegas, Nevada-based practice, No Insurance Surgery. His patients come from all 50 states and Canada and many travel great distances to get the surgery they so badly need.

This is why America sucks. Everyone should have free health care. You work hard and pay taxes on everything you buy and use and the governemnt dont even give a fuck about you. Should be more doctors like you.

i dont want to get into a big healthcare debate, but just want to say that as a British citizen i am unbelievably happy to have government funded, free healthcare...the NHS is the best thing about the UK and one of the few things im genuinely proud of...it always makes me wince to think that americans have to pay for something you have a natural right to

Very interesting way to practice surgery! Bravo! There's a big need for this re bariatric procedures especially "take-downs." After some of those primary surgeries go bad, insurance carriers often deny coverage for reversals and these pts sometimes die or are disabled...

Patient with huge inguinal hernia and no health insurance. Examination of the patient was preformed by Dr. Petersen. Surgery was performed the next day. Hernias should not be allowed to get this big and should be fixed as soon as they are diagnosed. This patient ignored his hernia only because he has no insurance. With the help of No Insurance Surgery, Inc. and Dr Petersen he got the surgery that he desperately needed.
