Kevin Gaffney is a visual artist working in Dublin, Ireland. In October, Gaffneys first solo exhibition will be held in G126, Galway, as part of Artisit? 2008. His work has featured in the Project Arts Centres Artists Performances Series, and has also been exhibited in a number of group exhibitions, including; Rose Project 2007, RDS Student Art Awards 2006 & 2007 and the Liverpool Biennales International Digital Art Exhibition. In 2008 he was awarded the Individual Artists Bursary Award from the South Dublin County Council.
As part of the artist collective Cotillion he has exhibited in a number of collaborative installations, including: All Shook Up (Tulca 2006), The Forest of the Fallen Moon (Broadstone XL, 2007), and Whats Behind Your Eye? (Dublin City Councils The Lab, 2007). In 2008 Cotillion directed and produced a short musical film, Speaking in Riddles, for the European League of Institute of the Arts E3 Film competition. Speaking in Riddles will premiere at Prix Europa in Berlin on October 18th 2008.
