On the flip side is a very different arrangement of words -- Kerryn Fields writes intensely passionate music, bringing the same crowds to a mesmerising halt, delivering her songs with great emotion, passion, and raw finesse.

Having experienced enormous difficulties early in life, Kerryn had to battle her way out of adolescence, and during this time learned to play the guitar, wrote bucket loads of morphine fueled poetry, and focused on pursuing a career in radio.
By 21 years old she was a highly coveted, award winning breakfast host, waking up with more people than Hugh Hefner.

Packing in the 5am wake up calls and fueled by a riot of music in her blood, Kerryn set sail to Australia with a handful of coins and a guitar, no plans ahead except to unleash music and carve her name into the streets of Melbourne.

The Australian response to this 6 foot 2 woman with a vivacious spirit and emotive music was instant; "Powerful and emotive, with the strength of a woman who's clearly lived before her time, and absolutely delivers with convition.

Recently, Kerryn Fields smashed out a breathtaking set at the 2011 Grand Final for Melbourne's Acoustic Storyteller of the year, bowling the audience over and continuing her trek into hearts and homes in Australia and homeland New Zealand.
