"Sporadic Pop" - Radio Ready music you are not already sick of hearing! The Boys of Kerrington Cooper may seem like your typical High School/College age students but there music is FAR FROM typical! The band started in January of 2008 after the song "Every Week" was written by Lead singer (Jordan Goldsmith) as a joke for his youth group. Very Shortly after forming, the band began gaining serious attention on Myspace and were soon opening for bands Like Thriving Ivory, Ivoryline, and even "Dancing With the Stars" very own Ballas Hough Band. When asking the Members how they would describe the band they often stutter as if it's hard to put them in one category. "I really like Musicals and Theater, But I like todays Pop Rock sound too. So we just thought we'd Put that all together and see what happens!" Says Jordan. Kerrington Cooper's Sound is most commonly associated with bands like: Boys Like Girls or Metro Station, but with maybe little bit of a "Theatrical Rock" vibe thrown in. After the Band Played the Finals for Kansas City's best band search, Hosted by Mix 93.3 (Kansas City's #1 hit radio station) The Mix 93 DJ's described them as, "Unique and Interesting... They definitely have an edge up on the competition!" The groups Live show is Very enegetic and Extremely Crowd interactive! "People Come to be entertained so we do our best to not just put on a concert but to PUT ON A SHOW!"
