Wow, I trap and I hunt. I also eat and wear clothes and boots made from animal products. So do most other people in the world. I hope to go all year and not buy store bought meat. Trapping will hopefully supplement my income.

@jamessp007 improper headspacing doesn't cause over pressure, It can cause case stretching which can lead to case head separation. Which if the case seperates before (in front of) the case can properly obturate then you can have hot gas blasted back in the shooters face.

I think that they were using hand loaded rounds because the guy says somebody else loaded them. This can happen when you are using a progressive loader or a powder throw and you are not weighing each charge.

Sorry about your weapon. I'd be interested to see what came apart. Did it shear the lugs...
