Kenneth O'Brien (Award Winner)
Kenny studied film, graphic design and
cinematography in his native Peru, at the Toulouse Lautrec School in Lima. He began his career as an editor and motion graphics artist in Frecuencia Latina Channel, in Lima, Peru. In 2001 he moved to Miami and joined Pigeon Productions, working there for over 5 years as head editor and graphic designer. Pigeon was wehere he launched his directorial career with a various PSAs & commercials. Among these are: Colors campaign for CarePlus Insurance, Children, a Miami Chilren's Hospital PSA, Flavors for Canton Chain Rest.
Kenneth has won several awards for his work, A Telly Award, The Communicator Award, and has a nomination for the 2006 Emmy award®.
In 2006 He launched FILMIKO, an international production boutique which is the result of many years of creative process, of searching and developing a successful holistic approach to each individual project they handle, and in 2007 he finaly was able to shoot his Short Film "Detrás de mis Ojos", with the one he won another award as Best Short film in the Florida Media Market Global Conference and an official selection from the Rhode Island Int. Film Festival 2008. On 2008 Kenneth started the year directing his feature film opera prima called Runway Duels which is being very well accepted in several countries of Latin America.
