Kenny Offers Deluxe Edition CD
Kenny Chesney is including portions of his live shows to a Deluxe Fan Pack of his upcoming new CD, Lucky Old Sun, set for release Oct. 14.
The Deluxe Fan Pack will feature the songs Boston and Got a Little Crazy from Kennys recent concert in Foxboro, Mass., as well as Soul of a Sailor and Guitars and Tiki Bars from his show in Key West, Fla., earlier this year. The Deluxe Fan Pack will also include details for a contest called Kick It Off With Kenny, where two lucky winners and a guest will be flown to the opening site of Kennys 2009 tour, which has yet to be determined.

Thankfully, my record label totally gets that my hard-core fans are so much a part of this, and its something they may want, beyond our studio release, Kenny says of the Deluxe Fan Pack. So, theyre allowing me to do a first-week deluxe CD . . . as something a little extra.

The music-only edition of Lucky Old Sun, which does not include the extra material or the contest details, hits stores Oct. 21

Just a reminder Kenny's new album Lucky Old Sun will be out Oct.14th. ITunes is putting outa single Sept.30th and Oct.7th

Country megastar Kenny Chesney is known to enjoy the island spirit. Soon, you'll be able to get into that spirit, or spirits, too.

The "Beer In Mexico," "Keg In the Closet" and numerous other alcohol-steeped tunes is teaming up with Constellation Spirits to produce a premium rum.

Though it might not seem the obvious thing to do, Chesney may just need a new challenge. He's already sold millions of albums, won a ton of awards and been married (briefly) to a movie star—Renee Zellweger—so why not make the move into the liquor business?

If Sammy Hagar can do it, why not him?

"We're looking to create a fun-in-the-sun, vacation-in-a-bottle type experience that people everywhere can enjoy when they kick back and relax," said the singer in a statement.

Sounds good. We're pretty sure he knows what he's doing, how about lending the guy a hand with a name for his rum?

Kenny Chesney reacted to his seven CMA Award nominations with a special nod to his fans.
Kenny received more nominations than any other country star. Every year, it amazes me the places we go and the things we get to do, Kenny says. Im blessed with some great songs, some of the best musicians in the studio and on the road. And fans just really inspire us, wanting to do more, hit it harder and give them as good as they give to us. Kenny played for more than a million fans during this years Poets & Pirates Tour 2008
