Please forgive me, and help me avoid sinning again. I believe that your son, Jesus Christ died for my sins, was resurrected from the dead, is alive, and hears my prayer. I invite Jesus to become the Lord of my life, to rule and reign in my heart from this day forward. Please send your Holy Spirit to help me obey You, and to do Your will for the rest of my life. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen."

Here is a poem I wrote...

This chalice was filled with the finest wine.
In haste we shattered the glass then cut the vine.

The vine dangled lifeless among the broken pieces.
Realizing the loss with cupped hands one reaches.

Desiring a taste of this choice fruit.
One touch to the lips a new vine takes root.

Now the wine is held within.
No cup is needed the chalice my skin.

They age in sequence defined by time.
One slowly dies while the other is refined.

No jewels, emeralds nor pearls.
Flavored to perfection not of this world.
