born in chicago,1942(south side) took trumpet lesson's as a kid.quit trumpet when i fist heard bill haily and chuck berry.messed around with guitar a little and played rhythm in a rock band in japan when i was in the air force.( 60-64) that was the end of my stage career.started playing again a few years ago.trying to learn the old standards so i can accompany my wife (x pro piano and singer)when she volunteers to play every week at assisted living for the folks.
