I'm agnostic, used to be evengelical. I can understand why parents react with such extreme emotion. They really believe their kids will spend eternity in hell. That's hard to take, sometimes causes an extreme emotinal reaction. I feel sorry for people caught up in religion.

Pascal's wager is not compatible with Christianity. Christianity requires true faith, not let me do these things "just in case". It is much more compatible with agnosticism.
