No. Those are different chips and different memory. Ti has more cuda cores than a regular 560. You used to be able to use 2 of the same cards with different memory, but that doesn't work on newer Nvidias.

HD 6870's aren't recommended in crossfire. Heard they were unstable. I would have gone with 6950's in a heartbeat, but I heard good luck getting em to work. Skyrim wouldn't run at all on release. I'm sick of seeing these benchmarks on the least demanding maps for every game. People everywhere say "Oh yeah I can run BF3 on my 8800gt on Ultra." Wtf ever. Try this 550ti on Caspian Border or basically any other section of any other map and see how playable the whole game really is.
