I am not a preacher or professor. It does not matter to me what the author meant, all that does matter is the way it filled my heart with such love for my Lord. I think of Joseph, what his brothers meant as evil, our Lord made a great and wonderful blessing. I do not know the man who penned this song. I do know the God who filled this child with His glory as she sang this song. As I listened my heart was filled with the neverending love of my God, who loves us no matter what I say or do. He stands with me, when I fail Him, and never sees my sins because of the blood of His Son. In my heart the song moved me to pray that this precious child of God keeps a childlike heart and that she can always be used of our Father in the way that He used her gift and her heart in this song. Is it "religious"? I do not know, I do know it shows God's grace and mercy, His neverending love, and His forgiveness. As I listened to this amazing child I heard the mirical and joy of her heart. As she sang this song there was not one moment that I diagnosed anything, no I did not. God speaks to my heart in hundreds of ways, sometimes even when I am wittness to good, evil, right, or wrong. We as Christians take from the things of life as our hearts are open to them. Those of you who have so gently spoke about the issues you are concerned about have done so sweetly and caringly. I have not read all comments. I offer no judgement on your comments. All I wanted to say was what God used this blessed child of God for in my heart. I rarely comment on things so far on GodVine, but this song moved my heart in a way that changed me. In my life God's grace, mercy and His unconditional love holds me together. David's lust and fall from grace and God's response to him makes me see God for who He is. He is my Father, my Saviour and my life's Guide who speaks to me about my journey here on this earth and prepares me for my journey in eternity. I have been moved and changed by this child's heart. I have heard this song at least a dozen times, each time being wonderful, however none have touched me more than the way God used Rhema and her childlike heart. Thank You Lord. Thank you Rhema. She is an amazing example of God's beautiful Glory.
