Hi Kenesto!!Just went back in time and heard Freda Payne's "Easiest Way To Fall" off the "Band of Gold" album. Of course back in the day I was introduced to Freda by her mega-hit "Band of Gold". Then while I was in high school in the early Seventies (a golden time for soul!) I subscribed to the Ebony Music Club (now defunct) and I started ordering albums. My first selection was "Band of Gold". I fell in love with the album and Lady Payne big-time!! Years later I happened to be driving down a street in Hollywood and spied a woman that looked like Freda. And sure enough it was HER walking her little dog. I parked and bounded out of my little yellow Toyoya and proceeded to gush about how much I loved her music. She was very sweet and told me how funny it was I noticed who she was. What a thrill! Anyway, I'm also an ancient Supremes fan (I'm 58 years old) and have so many tales to tell. Have a Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Supreme Year!

For the life of me, I don't understand why Ms. Payne's music wasn't played as much as it should of! What a beautiful voice and person!! I need to find some of her CD's. Maybe on Amazon
