To other commendator(s), I don't think the person is supposed to be taking the 3 steps forward as the ball is being it, but as the pitch approaches the hitter. These 3 steps are over by the time the ball is actually hit, so the fielder is not "in motion" forward or otherwise at the moment the bal...
