I'm really 13...
I think what people need to realize is that there are no absolute right and wrong answers/solutions. Complete socialism isn't the answer, but neither is complete capitalism. Both of them together, in moderation, I believe would be the best solution for our struggling economy. To do this, we should nationalize the banks (government control of banks). This means no more greedy CEO s trying to put together some kind of twisted spending "plan" thing that would only benefit themselves and their own company. CEO s are paid millions to do this; their bonuses coming from the taxpayers that they try to cheat.
Many people are afraid of socialism because they think it is communism. Communism is extreme socialism. As I said before, these things have to be in moderation. Right now, we have too much capitalism, and you can see how that is working out. It only benefits the few and makes the rich richer. The middle class, that is vital to economic growth, is hurting.
