A Little Piece of Heaven by Avenged Sevenfold Drum Cover by Myron Carlos.
This is NOT a note for note cover. Really.....it's not. Besides the fills and perhaps the crashes being different at times, I didn't (for example) play eights on the ride during a few sections but played quarters instead. Nevertheless, the essential basic grooves are there.
Note too that the disclaimer at the beginning of the video is in regards to the lyrical content and the addition of the music video. Man, that video is something else. Very gory and graphic but look at it as "art for 'art's sake". Whenever I hear music for the first time, (maybe it's the music teacher in me) I primarily listen to the melody, counter melody, chords, song structure, etc. After a while, I start listening to the lyrics (if it has any). Yes, there is cursing and yes, the music video is indeed graphic, but I respectfully ask that you appreciate the artistry of all the mediums involved for Art's sake and temporarily put aside your personal opinions to simply escape momentarily. So why include them? I couldn't find a censored version of the song and putting the music videos within my covers has been something I do if it exists.

With that aside, so many things went wrong while trying to record this! First, I was going to have another camera angle but realized that the SD card I had in the camera didn't have enough memory to record in 1080. Next, while trying to upload the cameras onto my laptop, the camera that usually records the bass pedals had crashed. It recorded but somehow got corrupted and eventually even removed some memory from the camera itself! Then, after hearing the audio capture of the drums, I found that my phantom power that powered the condenser mics might have been switched off. The final blow was finding out that the audio recording of the drums didn't line up at all with the original song audio and I had to do some tedious realignment. -__- My curse with A7X songs......
