Mick Taylor & Jack Bruce - Without a word

Mick Taylor & Jack Bruce - Without a word

    keirajaimon keirajaimon commented:

I love Jack Bruce. He and Ginger Baker were willing to step out and follow their musical instincts into new sounds. Clapton stayed in the same place and was never as adventurous. I guess he's stayed true to his blues beginnings but Bruce and Baker went into more interesting and challenging realms...

If the interviewer ever watches this again I hope he hangs his head in embarrassment. Arrogant fuck doesn't belong in the same room as these master musicians.

Ginger Baker jams with Afro-Rock artistes (& Joni Haastrup)

Ginger Baker jams with Nigerian Afro-Rock artistes in Lagos, Nigeria in 1971.

They include: Johnny Haastrup, Joni Haastrup Tee Mac, Tunde Kuboye, ...

    keirajaimon keirajaimon commented:

Ginger liked it primal and complex and on the edge of being out of control. He used two bass drums, like jazz player Louie Bellson...In 2008 a bank clerk was charged with defrauding him of almost ($60,000). The bank clerk claims that it was a gift after she and Baker became lovers. Not so, insist...

    The Orkustra - Flash Gordon

one of the best unknown bands of all time! fuckin geniouses even though Bobby BeauSoleil killed a few people! LISTEN AND LOVE!

    keirajaimon keirajaimon commented:

Good music. Too bad he is a murderer who tortured Gary Hinman for two days before finally slitting his throat. Too bad that his friends the Manson family went on to murder all those people so it wouldn't look like Bobby had done the original murder. He's left a bloody legacy. It proves that even ...

    keirajaimon keirajaimon commented:

This was before Bobby hooked up with Charlie Manson. And before he tortured/murdered Gary Hinman. The other murders by the family took place immediately afterward to give Beausoleil an alibi since he was already in jail at the time of the tate-labianca killings. the tate-labianca killings were do...

Kris Kristofferson - Don't let the bastards get you down

Live acoustic from his show in Kristiansand, Norway 21st of June 2006.

    keirajaimon keirajaimon commented:

Like @aynatn says, Kris has earned the right to talk. If he says his Daddy would have been shocked at what we're doing he's talking about a 100% military man and patriot. Bless those who fight against evil, like we saw with Hitler in WW II and bless those who provided leadership in those perilous...

Mireille Mathieu - Der Pariser Tango

    Paris un tango german version

    keirajaimon keirajaimon commented:

I am embarrassed to say I have only just discovered this brilliant singer. I am enchanted, amazed and thrilled by her music. I'm so grateful to find that there are many songs I can sample on youtube. She is as technically good as Streisand, if not better and with none of the historonics. She doe...

    keirajaimon keirajaimon commented:

A brilliant update of this song of her youth. Such a feeling of a life lived and looking back. It worked when she was in her twenties and the song still works now. It's a testament to her genius that this song is as amazing and moving today as it was then.

    Last Song - Edward Bear

Last Song. By Canadian band Edward Bear from 1972.

    keirajaimon keirajaimon commented:

LondonBobby4 and jelliebean123 are both right. I know Larry and used to do stage comedy with him. In the 80's he was having trouble getting a record deal and he and his wife left Toronto and got a horse farm. He's a terrific guy and he was pretty damn funny on stage as well.

    Laura Nyro- Stoned Soul Picnic

    Song: "Stoned Soul Picnic"

    Artist: Laura Nyro

Album: Eli & the Thirteenth Confession

    Year: 1968

    keirajaimon keirajaimon commented:

I was a big fan of hers back in the 60's. Her first two albums were brilliant, her debut especially was genius. Sadly, her subsequent records never lived up to the early recordings. But she wrote enough to be remembered as a remarkable artist.

What a shame she was treated so shabbily by her ex-h...
