Yes, their have been many cultures that have used slavery but there are some important differances between North American slavery and its predicessors. The largest being that in america whites seperated slaves from the human family (I.E. teaching people that they are sub-human. continued after slavery in that 3 blacks equaled one white vote, then taking the vote away entirely,later segregation,and today through economic racism.)...oh and btw in most MOST cultures slaves were criminals or conquered peoples. Morgo come to america equality is a myth

I see the blood of countless peoples shed, from countless backgrounds and races...
