Hey, thanks for stopping by! Along with audio engineering and producing, I have been writing songs ever since I can remember. I began playing guitar as a child, and have played at varying levels of intensity ever since. These days I play out on occasion, have led worship at our church, play house concerts, and record with others as time allows. As a child of the King, my eternal citizenship is in heaven, but presently I am blessed to make my earthly abode in RI with my teenage daughter Linnea. 2009 was a difficult year, as Jennifer, my late wife and soulmate of 30 years died following a 5 1/2 year battle with lung cancer--5 1/2 blessed years that were a true gift from our Father! Our 3 older adult children have abandoned this nest to seek and build ones of their own.

Over the years, in addition to developing a project recording studio, I have been studying acoustic guitars--differing brands, different woods utilized in construction, and the incredibly diverse range in tonality based on these and other variables such as age. My craze has been arranging and composing music and songs (especially sacred music) while experimenting with various acoustic guitars of our day, as well as studying old prewar Martin and Gibson models. More recently I have been learning the lap steel and resophonic guitars and ukelele. I have recently begun a house concert set called "Real Life Stuff" back in December, '09, and plan to continue developing that over time and playing out where opportunity allows. I am always learning, and love watching how others play/experience their music.

On my website I have a "From the Woodshed" page for some mp3 downloadable works, as well as those that haven't yet made a CD--though many of those will be posted on Youtube in video form these days.
