At one point you said a theory about a dual layered disc (Blu ray) which is the reason the drive is not responding. Well i have a 40GB NTSC-J PS3 from japan, and i also have MGS4 & GOW3, both the games are dual layered. but they still work on my ps3. ust only a few times in mgs4 during the start ...
