@roljamas Biakabutuka had some injury problems that caused him to miss parts of a few games. He was a latecomer to the Heisman party. Plus, he had absolutely zero hype coming into the season.

This team's pass defense was infuriating to watch sometimes. That first pass down the middle to a guy wide open in the middle of a soft zone was typical for the year.

We did the world a huge favor by winning this game. Paulus was getting Tebow-like hype before he ever stepped onto the field.

I wonder how much playbook we aren't showing. This was still a pretty vanilla offense. The defense was selling out to stop Denard big time and there were lots of plays open.

Jon Vaughn. Totally forgotten one-year superstar. Never mentioned as one of our all-time greats. I think that he left school a year early. From the late '80s through the mid-90's we were THE Tailback U.

Carr was a conservative coach but he had an excellent knack for calling trick plays. He called two or three a year and they worked just about every time.
