@Magus59 Right. I was online from home in 1986, sooner at work. I paid over $1400 for a computer that didn't even have a hard drive (Amiga 1000), lots of floppy-swapping. Mostly I logged on to download computer games and read people's bulletin boards! Ebay didn't even show up until '95.
