@chicagomike88 To launch in surf you do mostly what she demonstrates. But people with enough experience to launch in surf would never, ever sit on their paddle like that.

still the advice is sound for paddling a better kayak. The bit about the diving blade angle was actually pretty well done. I'm a kayak guide and instructor registered with the ACA and BCU.
