But it's not racist, either. If you note the settings where most of these stories take place, then you'll know that African American people (or any other black people) wouldn't be in those places during that time period. =P

That doesn't happen in the manga version, and this series follows the manga, so it follows the manga more closely. :)

Dumbo never ceases to make me cry. Most of the time people always say Mufasa's death was the saddest, but it's the more touching things like Dumbo that make me cry :c

Dogs and dog designs from Lady and the Tramp are in here, as some other users have pointed out; Jacque, the bulldog, Peg, and at one point I thought I saw a Cocker Spaniel...

I'm sure it's the same animators, or at least they tried to put in a little homage to Lady and the Tramp. :)

Aw, sorry about your VHS! I broke my VHS tape of Thumbelina, haha. But yeah, my parents were a little older than most so I was naturally introduced to older things, and as such I'm 14 and I still have a few dozen VHS tapes. We also still have a TV that plays them. Yay! :D

Have you watched Puella Magi? In my opinion, its darker and more complex plot makes me think that's what would make it be dubbed over Oreimo, but that's just my opinion.
