I love all of her novels and stories. My favorite is with no doubts Pride & Prejudice, my second favorite Mansfield Park, then Sense & Sensibility, Northanger Abbey, Persuasion, Lady Susan, and at last Emma. My favorite Austen-story, however, is "The Watsons", a novel she started but never finished, which is a shame, because it would have made a great novel.
When it comes to Austen-movie-adaptions, I adore the BBC Pride & Prejudice 1995 and Sense and Sensibility 1995. Other Austen-adaptions I have watched and liked, are Persuasion both 1995 and 2007, Northanger Abbey 2007, Emma with Gwyneth Paltrow, Emma 1996 and BBC Pride & Prejudice 1980.
The Sense & Sensibility 2007 is almost boring compared to the 1995 adaption.
The Pride & Prejudice 2005, Mansfield Park 1999 and the Mansfield Park 2007 are all great movies, but not good Austen-adaptions.
