Translation of "Moi... Lolita" written by Mylène Farmer and Laurent Boutonnat and released as Alizée's the debut single. It became her most successful single to date.

The song is full of puns and expressions which are really difficult to translate into English... For example:
- "When I'm ravished in my dreams/It's Lola who bleeds" can be probably referring to Lolita's virnigity... Literally "When I dream of wolves (Quand je rêve aux loups)" or "She saw the wolf" it's a French idiom meaning the lost of virginity.
- "When my tongue slips...", indicates she is a teaser.
- "I'm the water of life/The water of torrential lovers", literally in French it means "Lo of life (Lo de vie)/Lo of toerrencial lovers (Lo aux amours diluviennes)"... "Lo" means nothing but Lolita's nickname, but the word is the homonym of "L'eau" (the water in French) which gives the verse its real meaning... A great pun.
- "L.O.L.I.T.A." is another pun, a reference to the book Lolita and probably to French songwriter Serge Gainsbourge who Mylène looks up to.
- The words "Methylene (Methylène)" and "Half wool (Mi-laine)" can be taken as references to the author name (Mylène).
- "Zip your lips", in French "Motus et bouche qui n'dis pas" is a phrase used by children in France, meaning "Shut up" in a soft way. This verse emphasizes Lolita's childish persona.
- "Lo... li... ta..." is a reference to the book.

Free To Be... You And Me- a children's film from 1974. This is a cartoon short called "Atalanta," a girl that has much better things to do with her time than fall in love and get married. Feminists will love this! Me, I have been wanting to get married since I was about 5, so needless to say, I never "got" this. My least favorite part of the film. Voices are Marlo Thomas and Alan Alda.

This film is so hippie! Totally a product of it's time. I was born in 1975 and I saw this movie many times in school and at the library between ages 4-8 and it was my favorite filmstrip. Seeing it again brings back vivid memories and almost makes me cry. It seemed that nobody else had this up on here, so I had to do it! Enjoy!
