I used to go to the Twisted Wheel, in Manchester and i saw the Spencer Davis group there with a very young Steve bWinwood. Also John Mayall's Bluesbreakers with Clapton and also Clapton when he was with the Yardbirds before he waqs with mayall. All at the Twisted Wheel. Awesome

Glad Clapton made it through his heroin addiction. Been clean for the past 20 years or so

Knew Terry back in the day, Long before the Hollies and even the Swingin' Blue Jeans. I knew him when he played in the Escorts back in Liverpool. Ahhhhhh! great days (smile)

Let us not forget flight Pan Am 103. Ghadaffi personally instructed Abdelbaset al-megrahi to carry the bomb on board. Everyone, flight crew and passengers alike ,and also people on the ground, died that day when the plane exploded over Lockerbie, Scotland.

Used to see these guys back in the earlier days in '65 at the Twisted Wheel club in Manchester England. Then I saw John at a blues fest at Robarts arena in Sarasota Fl(where I now live) a couple of years back. He is still awesome.

Big Bill. All of the modern 'greats' Clapton, Keith Richards and so on were all hooked on him and stylised their own particular way of playing by following his method.

@TheDaorson Actually he plays 5 string because he mastered a certain riff along the ways, that has distinguished his style. his fingers on that particular photo certainly look arthritic, however that is not why he plays 5 string. Read his book "LIFE" by Keith Richards. It is a fantastic book abo...
